Battlebridge FC are an FA Charter Standard Club and is the only inclusive football club operating in Reigate and Banstead Borough. Founded in January 2012, the club offer young people with special needs the opportunity to participate in high quality structured football in a safe and welcoming environment. Our main objective is to increase the numbers of local children and adults participating in football or other sports and to develop players regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or belief, ability, age or disability and to support them to play at the highest level they can possibly achieve. Football belongs to and should be enjoyed by everyone equally. Reigate & Banstead and Mole Valley Council officers will be working in close partnership with Battlebridge FC to implement this football development plan, as will the broader partnership of agencies in Redhill. In the plan below our focus will be to build a playing base of young people, to develop regular sessions for a variety of age groups, to host tournaments and to generally develop football & multisports in the area, to do this we will work closely with the local schools and colleges. Battlebridge FC are dedicated to a policy of equal treatment of all members and requires all members of whatever level or authority, to abide and adhere to this general principle and the requirements of the codes of practice issued by the Equal Opportunities Commission for Racial Equality. All members are expected to abide by the requirements of the Race Relations Act 1976, Sex discrimination Act 1976 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
